Five year old Aditya was born a premature twin and suffered from cerebral palsy. He was unable to walk, stand or sit, and has bilateral loss of vision. He was brought to HHSB when he was only two years old. Despite his multiple impairment he was eager to attend school - and to learn. Aditya received sustained medical treatment followed by surgery and intensive on going physiotherapy.
With medical assistance from the Children’s Orthopaedic Hospital and his caring family and love from those around, Aditya is
now able to take a few steps. We wait for the day when he will discard his crutches and walk independently.
Aditya is a happy, friendly and smiling child. He wants to grow up to be a doctor and help other children. His courage and determination are an inspiration to his classmates and teachers.
