Since the majority of children live in the distant suburbs which would make it difficult for them to attend the School, Happy Home provides a second home with comfortable residential facilities for approximately 200 boys. Great emphasis is placed on personal hygiene and training to impart to the children skills which will remain with them for life. Children of all backgrounds learn to live and play together in a happy atmosphere. Parental involvement is encouraged to minimize separation anxiety and elicit support in weaning the child from dependence to independence. Family ties are sustained by regular weekend visits.
Students are provided with three nutritious and balanced meals a day in the School's capacious dining hall. The food is all freshly cooked in the School's kitchen.
